Resumen
La etiqueta «historieta realista» se utiliza para definir un sector del campo de la producción de historietas. El presente trabajo analiza a qué estilo de dibujo se aplica el término realista, aborda los antecedentes históricos de ese estilo y la posibilidad de que la historieta pueda constituir un realismo. Se examina el modo en que el «dibujo realista» está en una tensión entre la caricatura y la fotografía.

Abstract
The label «historieta realista», in Spanish, is used to define a section of the field of production of comics. This paper analyzes to what style of drawing does the term «realistic» apply, and addresses the historical background of this style and the possibility that a comic may be a «realist text». It examines how the «realistic drawing» poses a tension between cartoon and photography.
